Once the main structure has been built and the equipment is in place, it has to be actually shown to be working as specified in the contract.
This requires exhaustive testing and commissioning in the presence of the vendor- supplier / owner’s representative / and sometimes the end user.
Training on equipment is imparted to the end user by the vendor.
All Documentation , Manuals , Test certificates , Spare part lists are checked by project managers for all areas of the hospital and all equipment.
Soft and hard copies are obtained where relevant.
